TDA's management team is comprised of seasoned engineering and computer science professionals with direct, hands-on experience in design and analysis, engineering and software development. In addition to managing the company, each of TDA's managers performs engineering and software development tasks for our clients on a daily basis. Part of TDA's philosophy is that our managers never lose sight of the technical work we perform.

Scott Bradfield, President
Mr. Bradfield has over 17 years of experience in the field of aeronautical engineering. Predominately in charge of the day-to-day operations of TDA, Mr. Bradfield has also found time to assist the US Navy in their P-3 Service Life Assessment Program (SLAP). In support of this program, his duties included preparation of the Statement of Work and resulting proposal for industry award, on-going contract modifications, coordination with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) participants and overall programmatic support.

Bob Merrill, Vice President
Mr. Merrill has over 26 years of experience in the field of aircraft structural analysis. In addition to being TDA's Vice President, Mr. Merrill provides analytical support in the computation of inventory projections based on aircraft fatigue lives as reported in the Navy's Structural Appraisal of Fatigue Effects (SAFE) program and continues to provide support to NAVAIR personnel in the operation of the Health of Naval Aviation (HONA) program. Mr. Merrill supervises personnel responsible for collecting and storing US Navy in-coming SDRS flight recorder data from the fleet.

Nagaraja Iyyer, Ph.D., Director of Engineering - Falls Church
Dr. Iyyer has over 25 years of experience in aircraft structures engineering and application program development. The majority of his experience has been supporting the US Navy in its aircraft structural life surveillance and service life assessment and extension programs of various aircraft. His strengths are in solving fleet problems related to structural integrity issues and has been heavily involved in the development of aircraft mission profiles, ground and flight loads tests, aircraft usage surveys, and numerous fatigue tests including full-scale, component and coupon tests. Dr. Iyyer has conducted numerous risk assessment studies to support safety of flight decisions for various aircraft components. In addition to structural integrity issues, he has also worked in developing algorithms for distributed interactive fire mission systems for the US Army. His current interests are in developing reliable life prediction models for engineers and management, identifying and mitigating age-related problems, and developing new damage detection techniques. Dr. Iyyer has won numerous awards during his career, including the 2006 Naval Air Warfare Center Division's Area Commander's Award for his ground breaking development of a probabilistic risk assessment methodology and metrics to quantify the risk of continued US Navy P-3 flight operations. Dr. Iyyer is very proficient at computer programming and fluent in multiple computer systems and software applications.

Chance McColl, Director of Engineering - Marietta
Mr. McColl has over 15 years of combined experience in aeronautical engineering and software development. Mr. McColl manages the Marietta, GA office of TDA and oversees TDA's loads engineering and software development efforts, including the development of a number of engineering applications.
